Meet The Author
Lacy is an upcoming children’s picture book author. She loves reading a variety of books, writing poetry and short stories.
Her love for writing started at the age of five when her mother read the first book she could remember, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by one of her favorite children’s picture book authors, Dr. Seuss.
Lacy has a B.S degree in communication sciences & disorders from the University of Central Florida, and is a licensed SLPA. She works with infants and toddlers birth to three years old. Lacy has taught and volunteered in the public school system, and currently holds the position as board secretary for a charter school. For over 20 years she has help cultivate and mold the minds of the next generation.
Lacy loves hanging out with her family, traveling to new destinations, reading new books and inspiring young readers.
Meet the Illustrator
Philippine based artist, Jem Delos Reyes, specializes in digital art and gouache painting that usually feature human subjects. Besides being a freelance artist, Jem is also a Fine Arts student at the University of the Philippines-Baguio, honing her capabilities and exploring a wide range of artistic forms.
Through her artwork, Jem aims to tell stories, promote Filipino culture, represent the beauty of life, and spread positivity. Her passion and talent root from her early years as the school’s newspaper cartoonist and her huge enthusiasm for animated movies.
Jem illustrated the book, I Have A Little Dream.
